haha is this another rant? well i've been told that my blogs are practically all rants but i ensure you.. this blog is not about a rant (umm.. but there's ranting in it :])
so my story starts on wednesday when i have an 8:30 AM lab.. that's right.. 8:30 IN THE MORNING.. so i decide to catch the 7:40 train.. arrive at 8:15 at union.. be 5 mins. late.. that's not so bad is it?
the thing is im totally not used to the morning cram and crush.. so... traffic jams are little experienced by me.. yep.. caught in kennedy traffic.. but im thinking "sometimes the train is late" there's still hope!!!!
right when i drive in.. i see the train doors open... close... and then leave

okaaaaay... so what else can i do? the next train would get me to union by 9:30.. that makes me an hour late! no way!
so i pedal my way to don mills.. more traffic.. i arrive at 9:30 to my lab anyway and i walk in and tell the technician "sorry im really late for my lab"
she takes one look at me and says " wow, you ARE really late"
but that lab lady is one nice lady.. very sympathetic~
continuing.. she asks me what my name is to check what group im in.. and she tells me... "you are in the 200's" and im like.. yeah.. and..? and she's like "you were supposed to be here yesterday"
UHHH okay.. so i wasn't an hour late.. i was TWENTY FIVE hours late..
lab coordinator comes.. and tells me to come tomorrow
that's the end? nooooo that's only half my friends!
so i set my alarm clock which is my stereo.. and i think about setting it to 6:30 and be out by 6:45 to catch 7:10 bus but then i think.. i might be late so i leave the alarm to be 6:15.
next morning i wake up and i hear the songs playing and after the first song i get up and turn the stereo off and sit down so i can start waking up.. after what i thought was 15 mins. i went to the bathroom and wonder what time it is~ i should have plenty!! should only be 6:35 now.. i look at the clock and.. it's freaking 6:50 already!!! so i grab whatever to wear and rush out the door and bump into a little traffic and when i pulled into the go station........
i saw the train come... open the doors.. close the doors.. and leave..... ....ME BEHIND!!!!!!!!
i COULDN'T believe it.. not only did i miss the train twice two days in a row.. but it happened twice IN FRONT OF MY EYES
yeeeeeesssshhhh so i went down to don mills again and.. the subway was crawling!! needless to say i was late..
and i walk in and the nice lady says.. "oh no.. you're late again"
i got there at 9:00.. WOW a half hour improvement!! im ONLY half an hour late...!!!
......
*sigh* you know i couldn't think of any valid excuse at all.. coz there is none.. and i was thinking.. man.. i wonder if i'll get kicked out of this course if the coordinator is real mean.. i also thought to tell her that i would just come tomorrow and make it on time to do the lab.. u know to show my sincerity that i was truly sorry (which i totally was).. and at the rate i was going on... improving a half an hour.. for sure i'd be on time right?
well.. thank goodness she just told me to come back at 10:30 for the second half lab... complete relief... no being kicked out~
*sigh* i just cant believe i did that.. cant.. u know when you sit in lecture or are doing a lab and some dude rushes in and has missed like half the lecture/lab.. or walks in 15 minutes late for his midterms.. i always think.. man.. why couldn't that guy just get up 5 minutes earlier or something and make it on time.. *sigh* but u know going thru this whole experience... that late late stupid guy.. that was me!!!!! *sigh*
why am i telling you this? ehh.. these bad experiences should be turned into funnies right..? at least when im 80 and my grand kids are in university i'll have something funny to tell them~
so what have we learned today boys and girls?
that i dont like having 8:30 in the morning labs...

i have a lab tomorrow at 8:30 but i still played that survival thingamajig
ehh.. it is pretty repetitive but it's also PRETTY ADDICTIVE.. man am i glad that i waited till after my history test.. else i would have probably failed it :)
