back to SCHOOOLLL!!!~
this year is the big commuting year.. no longer living in res.. which means lots of backpacking and lots of walking...
today was extra painful coz of the extra books.. yeeeesh..
but i have to say despite the pain in my legs right now.. im pretty happy!!! commuting makes me feel like an actual university student coz i walk around the place a lot more instead of just going back to my dorm room to drop off my books and the like.
and i have to say.. God is really providing all that i need just when i need it.. i've taken up a night lecture for Chinese History.. and i thought i was going in there alone.. but lo and behold there's karen!!! i was sooooo happy that i wouldn't have to walk to the subway alone.. that and.. someone to survive the course with :) and she's a veteran at history courses which is a plus! (by the way.. all my elective course profs are eccentric but are essentially nice people and good profs)
and then i went to take the go bus.. and i ran into richard from mdhs.. and thank goodness i ran into him coz i had no idea where i was supposed to go to take the bus.. so he took me there.. and we bumped into daphne..!! and then i went on the bus with richard and we bumped into roman!! and then and then!! on the bus.. sitting behind richard was a lady from church ingrid! it was her first time taking the go bus so late.. who would have thought?? all this help right when i needed it and friendly faces that were comforting :D
needless to say i was soooo thankful! i was doubting this year a lot but.. i think im ready for all the challenges.. i haven't fallen asleep as much in classes too :) so here we go..!! haha im starting to get the feeling that this year may just turn out excellent after all :D
